Garry Tomason & Laura Ward-ElByr are experts in the event industry. As professionals they come from extensive backgrounds in all areas of this wonderful and complicated world of event coordination & Design. When it comes to coordinating & designing your wedding or event you truly want a team of leaders who can take the reigns and ensure that every aspect of your dream wedding is executed in the most efficient, cost effective and flawless manor possible.One of the things we offer that many other coordination companies don't is the expertise from our backgrounds. Garry comes from a design background specializing in Floral, Decor and overall production. Garry is also a trained Interior Designer. He began his career in the floral industry and has managed some of the largest floral production companies in Los Angeles. He then moved on to start his own floral company where he not only created a very successful floral & event design firm but also found himself coordinating his clients events as well. After spending many years handling all aspects of this industry including Planning & Coordination he then decided to attend Interior Design school to further his design knowledge. Garry discovered that his true love was Design & Coordination and decided to specialize in this field.Laura comes from a background in catering, venue management, as well as Event Design for all size and styles of events. Laura started her career managing a posh celebrity hangout in the heart of Beverly Hills. She then moved on to work for several other catering companies in the Los Angeles area. From there Laura began coordinating weddings and moved on to become head coordinator for one of the most beautiful and successful venues in LA. As head coordinator she was in charge of training and managing a team of wedding planners and built wonderful relations with top-notch vendors in the event industry. After producing and overseeing hundreds of weddings, she was able to hone in on her skills and was inspired to launch on her own and created a successful coordination firm. Laura and Garry had worked together on many events and then decided that the next natural move was for them to team up and create a company that had expertise in all aspects of weddings and events. It was then that A Diamond Affair was bornA Diamond Affair is a full service Wedding Planning and Design company who pays close attention to detail and truly works to make sure that your wedding day is seamless and becomes everything you envision.
